Pamela Barsted, the only female player, is sitting on the left. A programme for a concert dated 1944 suggests that these photographs match that date. One note states that it was a concert given to Anglo/American Troops. Gordon Frankland was the compere & can be seen in the wings in one photograph. All the photographs are stamped with 'A. E.
