Details of the memorial service held in March 1946 for Frank Brookes Walker, only son of John Plane Walker. John worked for Wallace King when it came to Reepham & later had his own store in the old Maltings at the corner of Back Street & Station Road. A memorial tablet to Frank can be seen in the Methodist Church. He was in the Royal Corps of Signals, killed in March 1945 & was buried in Venray War Cemetery, Limburg in the Netherlands.
