Sun Barn
Description
Colour photograph of the huge barn that stood on School Road where there is now modern housing. In the foreground is the area in front of the fire station. This was once a large pit or pond called Sun Barn Pit, famously used by an elephant in the early 1900s when a circus (or menagerie) came to Reepham. The pit was also used to fill the old steam fire engine used by Reepham Fire Brigade.
