This was the 27th Fete held in Dr. Perry's gardens and the attractions included the Black Diamond Minstrel Group, Reepham Band, many stall holders and competitions and refreshments.
300 people attended the afternoon entertainments and 800 the evening performance, after which people danced on the lawn until midnight, the music being rendered by the Cawston Silver Band.
