Description
The British Red Cross was based in the Bircham Institute from 1914 up to the late 1970s. Reepham had its own Red Cross ambulance and most of these ladies were on ambulance duty from time to time. This photograph was taken in Reepham Town Hall in about 1960 during an Annual Inspection.
