Description
This photograph is of the Brewery Yard behind the building now known as The Dial House (2019) and previously as The Old Brewery House Hotel. It is taken looking east and all the buildings have been demolished. The buildings on the left were replaced in the 1970s by a Leisure Centre, itself demolished in the 2010s and now private houses.
A newspaper cutting dated 14 February 1964
states :-
"The man holding the post on the left is the brewery foreman Ben Holt, grandfather of Mr. Walter Ford, the Reepham baker."
