Jack Brahms, Army Cyclist Corps, 1916.
Jack, 17, the only Jewish boy in his unit, the 3rd City of London Yeomanry is in the front row on the right.
Jack travelled by train from London to Reepham to start his army career at the local headquarters of the Army Cyclist Corps. He was in Reepham for about six months before being sent to the trenches in France.
Shortly after this photograph was taken in Reepham, Norfolk, Jack was invalided out of the front line trenches near Kemal in France with severe frost bite.
